Ask the Maxwell:  Is the Museum involved in Covid-19 assistance?

Yes,  Maxwell staff participate in a number of ways.

In April, the Maxwell Museum participated in a campus wide donation of H95 masks and sterile gloves,  part of a campus wide organizing project, delivered by Senior Collections Manager for Archaeology Karen Price. The materials are used by staff creating exhibitions and handling objects in our collections. Staff  have also assisted Operation Bandana, sewing masks and donating food and other supplies, organized by Senior Collections Manager for Ethnology Lauren Fuka. Curator of Exhibitions Devorah Romanek has made trips to the Navajo Nation to deliver H95 masks and other supplies.
