Join us for another special holiday event with live music, Mexican hot chocolate, a store sale, and more!
The Maxwell joins the UNM campus' annual UNM Hanging of the Greens to celebrate the start of the holiday season. This is a family-friendly event.
Visit our galleries that will be filled with live music by the talented classic guitarist and UNM student, Carlos Arellano. He will play his original compositions in our temporary exhibit “Conversing with the Land: Native North American Baskets of the Maxwell Museum Collection.”
Also, enjoy free sweet snacks and Mexican hot chocolate. Shop at our annual holiday sale and visit the special holiday photobooth in our courtyard, where you can pose for a picture to take home as a free souvenir of the evening.
Join the entire campus walking tour, beginning at the UNM Bookstore at 6:00 pm or come directly to the Maxwell. We will welcome you with open arms!
