D.L. asks: Will there be a Maxwell Museum Rug Auction this fall?

Yes!  We are excited to announce that the Maxwell Museum Navajo Rug Auction, conducted in partnership with R.B. Burnham and Company will be returning to the Praire Start Restaurant at Santa Ana Pueblo.  This event is the largest fundraiser for the Maxwell, supporting many of our public programs and activities and the talented artists who create the weavings and other works that will be availabe to peruse and purchase.

When: Saturday November 20, 2021, viewing begins at 11 am and the auction starts at 1 pm.  
Where: Prairie Star Restaurant, Santa Ana Pueblo, NM (near Bernalillo, NM)
 
Come to the Maxwell on Friday Nov 19 from 5-7 for an appraisal clinic, jewelry sale and auction preview.
