Following our free Pizza Party for UNM + CNM students from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, we are opening up our museum courtyard to everyone for a back to school dance party.
Come dance the night away in a fun, safe, and energetic cultural space --our courtyard transformed by glowing, changing colored lights and a booming sound system.
The event is open to all but will be curated especially for and with students and the UNM/CMU community. So come kick off the semester right, make new friends, and learn about what the museum will offer in Fall 2023.
As award-winning musician Jorge Drexler reminds us, "Music teaches, dreams, hurts, and heals" and correctly states that humans "were already making music way before we invented agriculture." As such come celebrate humanity's creativity through art + movement!
