Join us for a conversation and workshop with Ohkay Owingeh willow basket maker Jilli Oyenque.
Jilli will share knowledge about the practices and meanings of red willow basketry and demonstrate weaving techniques in this family friendly event. These event is associated with the exhibitions "We Were Basket Makers Before We Were Pueblo People" and "Conversing with the Land: Native North American Baskets of hte Maxwell Museum Collection" currently on view at the Maxwell Museum.
