Eco Explorations in Pottery: Celebrate Spring with a Day in the Clay!
Saturday April 24, 2021
Join the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology for our free virtual family day to celebrate mothers, Mother Earth, spring and much more! Our special guest and expert potter, Pamela Lujan-Hauer from Taos Pueblo will be on hand to demonstrate pottery making and clay sculpting. We’ll craft paper flowers and make Mother’s Day cards. Visit our breakout rooms to tour our pottery collections and for story time. Connect with the earth, and celebrate sustainability and spring renewal! 50 free supply kits are available for pick up from the Maxwell Museum.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology at the University of New Mexico is located on the northwest part of the campus, near the intersection of University and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevards. http://maxwellmuseum.unm.edu
